Chitosan-oligosaccharide application on chives

After three consecutive uses,
Spray 5% chitosan-oligosaccharide alone 600 times of the liquid treatment
The number of tube, number of tillers and plant height of chives were increased by 7.5%, 21.50% and 1.74% compared with the blank control. The yield per mu reached 4266.69kg, which was increased by 25.49% compared with the blank control. It can be recommended for production.

What is IPM principle?

The basic principle of integrated pest management is not the destruction of the pests completely. Instead, it tries to decrease the multiplication of pests and to limit their numbers without the loss of crop. This is an eco-friendly method that ensures pest control without disturbing the environment.

Application of γ-PGA in agriculture

Super-absorbent:
To enhance the water holding capacity, improve seed growth, the yield of cottonseed, increase the boll numbers per plant, length of cotton fibre, stem diameter, plant height.

To retain water in the soil for a longer period, reduce the soil water infiltration.

Biofertilizer:
Boost fertility of the soil, increase utilization of essential minerals, enhance plant growth-promoting bacteria.

1-Methylcyclopropene

1-Methylcyclopropene is a gas under normal environmental conditions. As a pesticide active ingredient, it is used for prolonging the life of ornamental plants and cut flowers by preventing ethylene from attaching to plant tissues. It is a postharvest tool for counteracting undesirable effects of ethylene on harvested fruits and vegetables during transport and storage. Ethylene is a substance made by many plants, promotes ripening and aging of plants, flowers, fruits, and vegetables.

1-Methylcyclopropene (1-MCP)–Keeping fresh

1-Methylcyclopropene (1-MCP) is used as a plant regulator to inhibit ethylene production in cut flowers, potted flowers, bedding, nursery and foliage plants, and in stored fruits and vegetables. It is approved for use only in enclosed spaces, such as greenhouses, store rooms, coolers, enclosed truck trailers, controlled atmosphere food storage facilities, and shipping containers.
